I remember the first time we met Jenny and Abdul at The Hall Place wedding fair, they were one of the nicest couples you could wish to met and we spoke to them for quite some time. When they told us they were getting married in August 2015 we didn’t think we would be available as August was already pretty booked up. But as luck would have it, their wedding was on a Sunday and we were free!
Jenny and Abdul’s wedding was one we got excited about from the off, it wasn’t just being held at one stunning venue, but two! After bridal preparations at Jenny and Abdul’s house the ceremony was held at Danson House, Bexley. This is a stunning venue and beautiful to photograph. The ceremony was in the light and airy dinning room which left the library and the salon free for photos after. As any good Danson House wedding photographer knows you have to make the most of the staircase and that is exactly what we did. The front steps of Danson House are the prefect place for family photos.
Another special thing about Jenny and Abdul’s wedding was the mix of two cultures. On Jenny side there was the Chinese tea ceremony. So on leaving Danson House the guests made their way back to the house. After a quick change Jenny reappeared in a traditional Chinese red dress ready for the ceremony to take place.
It was then on to Eltham Palace for drinks and a feast of Bengal curry. Eltham Palace is a magnificent venue. From the old Tudor Grand Hall to the Art Deco entrance hall this venue does not fail to wow wedding guests. On arrive Jenny and Abdul’s guests were greeted with welcome drinks. While we were treated to a beautiful sunset, which of course we just had to photograph Jenny and Abdul in front of.
The hospitality of Jenny and Abdul was second to none, they really made us feel like one of the family. Many congratulations to you both, we wish you every happiness together.
